1. PM EDFA

The STK-KY-EDFA-PM series PM-EDFA is a single-polarization-amplified erbium-doped fiber amplifier. The main optical path of the amplifier is a fully polarization-maintaining optical path (slow-axis operation). High-quality polarization-maintaining devices are used to ensure the polarization extinction ratio of the overall optical path is better than 20dB and output up to 33dBm can be achieved.

For different applications, a variety of amplification structures can be selected:

  • conventional single-stage amplification structure;
  • single-stage low-noise optimization structure;
  • dual-stage amplification structure;
  • dual-stage structure, three-stage amplification, etc. .

For different applications, the lowest noise can achieve a noise figure of 3.6dB, and the high gain can achieve a gain of more than 45dB. The multi-stage amplification structure has the effect of improving the OSNR. At the same time, the narrow-band ASE filter can be used to achieve lower ASE noise output, which can provide amplification of weak linearly polarized light signals for special applications, such as coherent optical communication, laser radar, meteorological detection and other fields.

2. Pulse EDFA

The STK-KY-EDFA-PL series pulse EDFA is a fiber amplifier specially used for pulsed optical signal amplification. It can amplify optical pulses with a frequency of 1Hz-1MHz and a pulse width of less than 100ns, the maximum output peak power can reach 500W. This product adopts low-noise erbium-doped fiber and purely analog pump laser drive circuit to ensure its high gain and low noise figure. It can display input and output optical power, pump laser working current, working temperature , cooling current and other parameters in real time. This product is mainly used in optical fiber communication system, quantum communication systems, picosecond pulse amplification, laser radar, optical fiber sensing systems such as Raman, Brillouin and φ-OTDR, and other fields.

3. High Power Fiber Amplifier

The STK-KY-EDFA-HP series high power fiber amplifier uses imported high-performance double-clad erbium & ytterbium co-doped fibers and high-power multimode pump lasers to achieve continuous output up to 10W. The purely analog pump laser drive circuit guarantees the high gain and low noise figure of the amplifier. The desktop machine can display the input and output optical power, pump laser operating current, working temperature, cooling current and other parameters in real time. 4. BA EDFA

The STK-KY-EDFA-BA series BA-EDFA is a fiber amplifier specially used for single-wavelength or multi-wavelength. It is usually placed at the back end of the optical transmitter to increase the optical power of the transmitted signal. This product adopts high erbium-doped fiber and purely analog pump laser drive circuit to ensure its high gain and low noise. It can display input and output optical power, pump laser working current, working temperature , cooling current and other parameters in real time. This product is mainly used in long-distance optical fiber communication system, quantum communication, picosecond pulse amplification, optical fiber sensing systems and other fields.

It is usually placed at the front of optical receiver or photodetector to increase the sensitivity of photodetector. This product is a two-stage amplification structure.
