The first TEA CO2 laser marking machine was produced in Wuhan, China in 1987. It was awarded the third-class prize for Progress in Science and Technology by Hubei Provincial Government of China in 1988.

This machine is suitable for marking on IC packages, electronic components, and food & beverage packages. It is widely used in semiconductor, food, medical, cosmetic, and jewel manufacturing industries.
